Local Hervey Town park

Clinton Thomas Hayden was born September 2, 1892 in Anderson County. He was the son of John and Alice Thurman Hayden and married to Princess Rosebud Hardman Mason (1895 – 1985 d/o George and Kitty Wiles Mason). Princess’s brother was the Rev. Henry Mason of Bracktown Baptist Church. Their children were John T Hayden, Sidney Hayden, Vernell Hayden, Otis Hayden, Dolly F Hayden, Mexico Hayden. In the 1950’s, Clinton became interested in the Hervey town area. and ran for councilman. Prior to his death on March 12, 1966. He was a Deacon and Trustee for East Maple St Christian Church. He is buried in Locust Grove Cemetery. The park is currently maintained by Jessamine County Parks & Recreation. To rent the shelter click the link below.
